June C. Troutman (Palmquist)

June C. Troutman (Palmquist), age 96 of Chisago City died peacefully January 16, 2014 at Margaret S. Parmly Residence. June was born June 24, 1917. She graduated from St. Croix Falls High School in 1934. She married Alton R. Troutman on November 6, 1943 and they were married for 52 ½ years.

June is preceded in death by her beloved husband Al and her parents Arthur and Ida Palmquist, her brothers Earl Palmquist and Cyrus Palmquist, her sisters Dorothy Nelson, Marjorie Womac and Barbara Reed. Also preceded in death by her nephews Peter Nelson and Steve Tornell and her nieces Martha Lanning, Carol Becker and Donna Palmquist. J

une is survived by her sisters Gertrude Nelson and Mary Alice Tornell and her brother-in-law Dean Reed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; Carol Peterson, Marcia (Patrick) Smith, Kris Henley, George (Teri) Nelson, Cheryl (Randy) Noren, Melissa Tornell, Mary Robinson, Mary (Don) Farmer, Kay (Steve) Dahlgren, Nancy (Dale) Grabow, Bill (Chris) Palmquist, Mark (Nancy) Palmquist, Susan (Jon) Fish, Scott Reed, Patrick Reed, Sandy (Ted) Elliott, Dixie (David) Quandt, Don (Karen) Palmquist, Bob (Nancy) Palmquist, Roger Palmquist, Diane (Bob) Zutter, Patty (Bob) McGarvey and her loving, adopted family Mike, Mary, Michelle and Matthew Hackner. June is also survived by members of her late husband’s family. June touched many lives with her love and kindness and she will be missed by all who knew her.

June’s Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Parmly Chapel, 28210 Old Towne Road in Chisago City, Minnesota with a luncheon following the service.
