Janice M. (nee Charles) Hanson, age 71, of Lindstrom, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 13, 2014 after a heroic battle with cancer.  
Janice was born February 16, 1943 in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Janice graduated from Lindstrom-Center City High School in June 1961.  
She is preceded in death by her parents Hugo and Evelyn Charles, and niece Stacie Schultz.  
Jan is survived by her husband of 50 years, George; children Brenda, Jill (John), and Tony (Rachel); grandchildren Keho, Cassie, Zach, Noah, Liam, and Quinn; great grandchildren Keeli and JayLynn; and many other family and friends.  
Janice enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, gardening, painting, horseback riding, the bridge girls, and her winter travels to Florida.  She took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom.  Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday at church.  Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Center City.
