High winds over the weekend took down some trees in the Taylors Falls area, two were down on County Road 16 and one reported on Chestnut Street, damaging a vehicle.

April 25 there was a lock down K9 search at the Chisago Lakes High School about 8:40 a.m. The search turned up some prescription medications in a locker. No citations noted in report.

A juvenile victim alleging criminal sexual conduct led to Lakes Area police responding and the arrest of a 67 year old Chisago City man, who was booked on immigration offenses.

Also April 25 a call that a high school student had put lacquer on the mouth opening of a canned beverage and the substance was ingested.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested by Lakes Area Police for domestic assault and booked.

April 24 theft of tires and rims from a garage on Nelson Lane, Center City. Also April 24 a leaking tank at Anvil & Co at Newlander and Neal in Lindstrom resulted in the intersection being barricaded while Lindstrom fire responded.

April 22 a load of concrete blocks spilled at Shoquist Lane and Hwy 8, reported about 1:45 p.m. No injuries, and state patrol sent a commercial inspection unit to assess the hauling operation. April 21 Mini-strorage unit in Rush City broken into, bolt cutters found on the scene.
