The Lake Improvement District has hauled away almost 13  tons of dead fish so far-- collected off area lakes, especially from North Center Lake-- where a large fish die off was observed this winter in the lake.  The LID provided two roll-offs for fish disposal, one at Hillcrest RV Park and one at the public landing near Chisago Lakes Middle School. The fish disposal service continues this weekend only.
