Joyce Danchenko

Joyce M. Danchenko of Chisago City died Sunday May 11 at Parmly LifePointes at the age of 85. Joyce was born March 14, 1929 at Amery, WI to Charles and Lillian Cross. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1947. On April 14, 1951 she married Taris Danchenko at New Auburn, WI.

She was a homemaker all of her life. In her free time she enjoyed music playing guitar, organ, was an artist and was a gardener. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Frances and Joanne. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Taris; daughter Marjorie (Morris) Ward of Coon Lake; grandchildren Naomi (Glenn Austin) Ward of Minneapolis, Wesley (Jamie) Ward of Coon Lake; great-grandchildren Norah, Elliot, Colton and Keira. Funeral services Wednesday May 21 at Chisago Lakes Baptist Church in Chisago City. Interment in East Lincoln Cemetery at Amery, WI. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home www.grandstrandfh.com.
