Taylors Falls new senior complex under construction
Brian Berg remarked that their mother Verna received such good care at a Good Samaritan facility in her final days, that their father Alton had expressed his desire to leave something for the organization that would show their gratitude and site for The Lodge is exactly that, he said. Brian, accompanied by family members Sandra and Karen, also thanked Taylors Falls city council and planning commission for their diligent efforts helping to make their father’s dream a reality. Brian noted that a brother, Terry, who passed away four years ago, would have also been so very proud to have been able to witness this.
A host of officials representing Good Samaritan and Community Assets, the site developer, were on hand for the groundbreaking.
The Good Samaritan organization will manage the property when it opens in 2015. The resident waiting list is already being filled, more information can be found at www.good-sam.com/taylors falls.
