The local chapter of A Brush With Kindness had crews out at several sites recently...there were painting and roofing projects underway and the volunteers could not have ordered better weather to get the work done. The locations for worksites in the autumn Mission Week schedule ranged from doing the exterior of a classic Victorian home in Taylors Falls, pictured, to roofing and repairing mobile homes in Wyoming and North Branch. Members of A Brush With Kindness perform various helpful rehab and renovation tasks for needy people all year round. Each spring and fall the group picks one week where projects get extra focus, called Mission Week. See the website for details or get connected through your church. A Brsuh With Kindnessis an off-shoot of the Habitat for Humanity effort and coordinates some of its activities and organizational aspects with Habitat.
