Man hurt in stabbing
Sheriff’s investigators are looking into an assault with a knife that seriously injured an unidentified male in Rush City, September 25.  Preliminary information is that a man flagged down the Rush City patrol car on the street about 1 a.m.  and it was obvious he’d been stabbed. The victim was transported.   Details are being withheld so that the investigation stays on track.

September 28 a tree fire re-ignited about 4:30 a.m. at a home on Stinson Avenue, in Chisago City after Lindstrom firefighters had been called to put out a fire in the tree the night before.  The owner was “smoking out” bees  in the tree hollow.
An arrest of a 46-year-old male for assault, made by Lakes Area Police.

A shoplifting incident reported Sept. 27 at the Antique Mall in Lindstrom. Missing items not detailed.

September 26 a vehicle reported as stolen from Chisago County turned up at a Pine County recycling center.  Investigators are looking into.

September 25 a burglary reported in Fish Lake Township.  Welding equipment, battery charger, and neon beer signs were among the missing items.
Sept. 24 If you are going to smoke marijuana and lock yourself out of your car it’s not a good idea to call to have police unlock the vehicle.  An 18-year-old male was cited after Lakes Area responded to a lock-out assist call about 11:30 p.m.

Two minor consumption tickets issued to juveniles at the football game last Friday at Chisago Lakes.

September 23 a boom truck delivering on a site at Bloom Lake Road, in Franconia Twsp. “snapped” an electric pole and service. Incident reported about 8 a.m.

September 22 a fight at the high school in Lindstrom ended up with one student being ticketed and the victim of the assault being accused of burglarizing a home earlier.
