The Lady Vikes were hoping their sweep over Cambridge-Isanti from the Duluth East tournament earlier this month would carry over into their showdown with the Bluejackets earlier this week.

However, a slow start in the first and second sets doomed the Vikings early and then a collapse in the third set sealed things for the Bluejackets, who won 3-0 to dash any hopes of a Mississippi 8 Conference championship for North Branch.
