Eric David “Rick” Lindell, age 53, of Franconia. Eric was born on October 13, 1960. He suffered a stroke and passed from this life on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis.  

He is survived by his parents, Wally (Bonita) Lindell and Cherry Rosenwald; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and close friend Mary Ann Linehan.
Eric attended Chisago Lakes High School.  Learned of hard work growing up on the family farm.  He applied that knowledge to the running of his own waterproofing business, Bone Dry Basements.  He was a woodsman, avid fisherman, trapper and hunter.  When he wasn’t working he spent his time in his sanctuary, “The Woods.”

Eric “Rick” will be remembered for his hilarious story telling abilities where he shared his view of the world from his own point of view.  Being late to most gatherings, the party didn’t really start until he arrived.  He was loved by all those closest to him.  No one will be able to fill those work boots.  “We Love You, Rick!”

Memorial services at 3 p.m.  Thursday, October 9, 2014 at  Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with Rev. J. Eric Stone officiating.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.  Family interment will take place at a later date.
