Tom's Pumpkin Farm, owned by Tom and Teresa Rongitsch, has been inviting the Chisago Lakes Primary School kindergarten classes to their field for 26 years as a fun, free, and educational field trip to witness first hand the life cycle of a pumpkin.  While at the farm students are given a brief overview of how a pumpkin is grown, a chance to run through the hay bale maze, take a hike through the pumpkin field, and are able to pick their own pumpkin to take home for free.  "This is the best field trip EVER." said one of the kindergartners trudging through the field.
