Sheriff’s investigators took a report of theft of a McCullough generator at a 335th Street address.  

The Lindstrom fire department went to a home on 32146 North Lakes Trail, in the township about 2 p.m.,  to take care of burning shingles and a pile of other prohibited materials. Property owner is being cited.

Two trail cams reported stolen from a Fish Lake Township property.

October 12 a fire call came in sending North Branch firefighters to a garage fire on 377th St.  Call was about 6:30 p.m.

October 11 Lakes Area Police report an arrest of a 24-year-old male northbound in the southbound lane of County Road 14 in Lindstrom. He was cited for DUI and no license.  A juvenile was also arrested for DUI about 11 p.m. in Chisago City.

Chainsaw and hand tools stolen from a garage in Rush City.

Also October 11 Lakes Area assisted Wyoming P.D. with a domestic assault incident and unruly suspect, at an address on East Viking Blvd about 10:30 p.m.

NB Police assisted in arrest related to assault in Rush City.

A report of an attempted burglary October 10 in Chisago City at Chisago Drug.  Damage to door was evident but no entry was gained.

A vehicle rolled into South Center Lake from a parking spot at Go Boat Motel, in Center City,  about 8 a.m.  Owner said he was running it to warm it up,  and it rolled. He had it pulled from water later.

An assault report at Chisago Lakes High School was investigated Oct 10.

Oct 9 North Branch Police assisted in transport of a suicidal person.

Reward offered to help solve North Branch downtown office building arson

Authorities ask the public for assistance in providing any information regarding a fire,  which appears to have been set deliberately Wednesday morning October 8, in the lower level of a downtown North Branch office building.  

There is a reward of up to $2,500 if your information helps identify those responsible.

North Branch Chief of Police Dan Meyer said 6448 Main Street was broken into, and half of the approximately 15 office  units,  appeared to have been entered.  Sprinklers put out the fire.  In the last week some “good leads” have been provided and are assisting in the investigation and the chief said any additional information could be helpful.
