Joy C. Peterson, of Lindstrom, died peacefully, Sunday September 7, 2014 at the age of 92, surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Anna Haselhuhn, and her husband Elwood “Pete” of 49 years.  She is survived by her three sons, Reid (RuthAnne), Neil, and Dan (Nancy); and five grandchildren; Christopher, Andrew, Ellen (Colin), Julia (John), and William.  She lived her whole life in Lindstrom, devoted to family and friends.  She spent countless hours as a Parmly Nursing Home volunteer, Meals on Wheels coordinator, Trinity Lutheran Sunday School teacher and altar guild member.  
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom.  Visitation one hour prior to service at church.  Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom.  Memorial preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church Children’s Ministries.  Arrangements the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  Condolences may be left online at www.grandstrandfh.com
