Woman sustains fatal injury when thrown from horse  
A Stacy area woman has died of injuries sustained when she was thrown from her horse last weekend.  Local authorities were called to help three horseback riders, thrown from their horses when the animals were spooked near Jeffrey Avenue-302nd Street. The incident was reported about 12:30 Saturday, September 13.  Lakes Area and Wyoming police, Lakes Region EMS, North Memorial Air and Stacy/Lent First Responders aided the victims.   Sergeant Pouti of the sheriff’s office, reports two females were not seriously hurt,  but Felicity Crosby, 53,  from Stacy,  was flown by air ambulance to Regions Medical center where she died Sept 15.

X-ray finds meth
A 30-year-old female county jail inmate allegedly tried to bring meth into the county jail and has been charged with a felony.  Felony level is possessing 25 grams or more. Crystal Neihart was scheduled for a court appearance this week in Center City. She  was reportedly in possession of 40.6 grams of methamphetamine September 2, which was discovered by x-ray at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, in Wyoming. Authorities pursued the medical center’s expertise based on a tip that Neihart hid the contraband inside a body cavity. Lakes Area Police cited two offenses for tobacco possession at the high school. Crash at Chisago Blvd and Morgan Avenue reported about 4 p.m. Wednesday Sept 10.  Nobody transported minor injury only. North Branch Police are looking into a reported burglary at Dave’s Coin Shop, Friday Sept 12.
