Born Christmas Day, 1968- a true gift from God, Krista went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2014 following a courageous, sacrificial battle with Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer of the bone marrow.
She will be deeply missed by husband Wade; daughter Hope; son Cullen; parents Donald and Marietta Holum; siblings, Scott (Beth) Holum, Jodi (Craig) Neslon, and Sandi (Kent) Andrusko; father and mother-in-law Charles and Sylvia Dorcas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Krista had the privilege of teaching and coaching many students in her hometown of Fridley for 20 years. She can be remembered for her sincere, loving and caring spirit: a devoted wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend, she made everyone around her feel secure and significant. A gathering of family and friends will be held 3 – 7 PM, Monday, Sept. 29 at Eaglebrook Church – Blaine Campus, 3603 95th Avenue NE, Blaine with a Celebration of Krista’s life beginning at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Krista’s family.
