Orman H. Beecher, born January 24, 1929, passed away on March 30, 2015. He was born to Orman J. and Maymie (Caza) Beecher on the family farm in Rock Creek.  He married his wife of 65 years, Joyce Fairbanks Beecher in 1949. He started his working career at the age of 15, at the creamery in Rush City and went on to work at other area creameries and retired as a class A boiler engineer from Home of the Good Shepherd in Arden Hills.

He and Joyce currently resided in Rock Creek.

Orman was the last member of his immediate family to pass away. Also preceding him in death were daughter-in-law Betty Lou (Gary’s wife) and great granddaughter  Jess Beecher. He is survived by his wife Joyce of Rock Creek; son Kent (Sandy) Beecher of Lake Crystal; daughter Connie (Tom) Warneke of Stacy; son Gary Beecher of North Branch; son Lee (Corinne) Beecher of Pine City and son Kirk (Patti) Beecher of Lino Lakes; 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many extended family and friends.

Visitation is Friday, April 3 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.  Funeral services 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4 at Living Water Fellowship in Rush City with Pastor Lee Beecher officiating.  Music was provided by Corinne and Jennifer Beecher and Jon Ekstrom. Interment will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in North Branch.
