There was a very special movie showing on April 18.  White Bear Township Theater held a special showing of Mall Cop 2 featuring Kevin James.

Chisago Lakes residents came out in droves to support a fellow classmate, a fellow friend, and a wonderful family.  Zac Bartz passed away a short while back, but not before a heroic battle with a rare form of cancer.  During his battle, he showed us all how to appreciate life and look for the positives.  

The Bartz family was rallied around and have since championed the fight for a cure for NF cancer.  They have raised thousands of dollars for the fund and continue to do so.

Actor/comedian Kevin James reached out to Zac and quickly became as drawn to him as the rest of us.  Sadly, Zac passed away before meeting James.  James has kept close to the Bartz family and even has flown them to meet him. In Mall Cop 2, there is an actor who is weraing one of the now famous “Zac’s Pack” t-shirts.  

The owners of White Bear  Township Theaters agreed to show the movie in as many theaters as needed with proceeds from the tickets going to the cancer fund.  Over 800 people attended the showing, most wearing their Zac’s Pack t-shirts.  Merchadise was also sold at the movie with the proceeds going to the cancer fund as well.
