Saturday, August 1, about 8 p.m. Lakes Area officers went to assist Wyoming Police with a report of a personal injury crash at 295th and Forest Blvd. Powerlines were on the road.

A possibly suicidal male juvenile was transported for observation about 9 p.m. from  a Lindstrom address.

Sheriff deputies responded to a call for an ambulance inside Interstate Park in Taylors Falls,  abut 4:30 p.m.  They were advised a swimmer had been cliff jumping from the Wisconsin side and was found to have injured himself and called for medical care. Transport went to Mercy Hospital.
Jumping from rocks on either side of the St Croix River is prohibited.

Thursday, July 30 an unattended stovetop food fire triggered alarms, sending Lindstrom firefighters to an apartment on Park Street,  about 3 a.m.  Firefighters vented the dwelling and no serious damage was reported.

Also July 30 sheriff’s officials took a complaint of a possible electronic identity theft incident-- where contact was made by phone from an individual claiming to work for Microsoft.  Complainant granted access to his computer, but grew suspicious and ended access when caller refused to give details about his work or contact information.

July 29 a camera recorded theft of a skidsteer from the lot at Swenson’s Lakehouse in Center City.  Images show two males loading the Bobcat onto a black truck. You can view the images best on the Chisago County sheriff Facebook page.

Tuesday, July 28 Lakes Area went to investigate an alleged dog bite in the Lakeside Drive neighborhood in Lindstrom.

Lakes Area Police were sent to assist at the scene of an alleged potentially deadly ambush and domestic incident,  north of Lindstrom,  Monday, July 27 about 10 p.m.  (See seperate story on charges.)

July 27 a report of a hanged person, reportedly dead on arrival, at a rural Chisago City address, about 3 a.m. Medical examiner and Lakes Area Police are investigating.
