August 9 a theft was reported from a home in Lent Township, on Forest Blvd. Loss includes jewelry and personal checks. Reported about 1:30 p.m. and happened while homeowner was out.

A multi-vehicle crash at Doyle Ballfields in Stacy reported about 1:20 p.m. August 9.  Three cars were involved, two that were stopped at the ballfield entry were rear-ended by a third, all were southbound on Forest Blvd.  Authorities have been advised another vehicle has dashcam footage of the crash. The third vehicle, a van, was towed and the other two could be driven.   The van driver was cited for no insurance and inattentive driving.  No serious injuries reported resulted according to preliminary information. Wyoming P.D. assisted deputies at the scene.

August 8 a motorcycle crash was reported near the Panola Gardens entry off Olinda Trail, south of Lindstrom, about 1:30 p.m.  A grouping of vintage cars was traveling north on Olinda and being followed by the motorcycle.  The Model A cars were turning into the event venue, and a motorcycle attempting to go around skidded and crashed, authorities were told.  Lakes Region EMS transported the unidentified man to St Croix Regional Medical Center.

Last Tuesday, Aug. 4 Chisago County Sheriff’s K9 unit assisted Anoka and Isanti county personnel attempting to locate a man sought with a warrant, thought to be inside an address in Forest Lake. Dogs also helped search neighborhood garages and outbuildings.  The authorities’ search activity took place in Forest Lake about 7 p.m.
