Kathryn was born January 18, 1929 in Calio, ND to Aloysius and Walburga Goeser. She graduated from Braham High School in 1947. On June 10, 1950 she married Matthew ‘Mitch’ Julik at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cambridge, MN. She worked in a bakery, was a nanny, worked alongside Mitch on the farm, and in the housekeeping department at Hazelden for over 15 years. In her free time she enjoyed bird watching, dancing, reading, baking brownies, was famous for her chicken dumpling soup, loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mitch, son Joe, brother Jerry Mayers, sisters Mary Jane Konency and Pauline Rose. She is survived by her children Steve (Nancy), Dan (Cheryl), Deb (Larry) Julik-Heine, Doug (Pye), Diane (Terry) Peer, 13 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, sisters Joan Serie, Carol Lakatua, Luella (Ted) Greene, brother John (Kay) Goeser, in-laws Viola Mayers, Tom Rose, Frank Konency, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday August 17 at the Church of St. Joseph in Taylors Falls. Interment was in Kahbakong Cemetery. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home. www.grandstrand fh.com
