Bruce E. Wennen

Bruce E. Wennen, 68 of Lindstrom, died on December 2, 2015. He was born on January 10, 1947 in Virginia, Minnesota to parents Ray and Evelyn (Nelson) Wennen. Bruce graduated from Silver Bay High School in 1965 and attended the University of Minnesota – Duluth from 1965-1967. He married Lesley Halverson on January 30, 1970. Bruce was employed as a manager most of his career with new car sales since 1976 and retired in 2013. He enjoyed traveling and car racing and spending time with his family. Bruce is survived by his wife of 45 years Lesley; son Bryan (Amy) Wennen; daughter Amy (Lonn) Bakke; grandsons Brady and Cole Wennen; sisters Judy (Robert) Vukelich and Kris (Walt) Hanish; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services 11 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with visitation one hour prior to the service.
