No Parking warnings
Police are again writing numerous warning tickets for overnight on-street parking.  Urban areas like Chisago City, Lindstrom, Rush City and North Branch have winter parking rules in effect.  If you need to leave a car on the street overnight let the local department know,  or get a temporary permit for an overnight guest if you expect to need overflow spots for company. On street parking isn’t allowed during plowing season even if no appreciable snow is visible.

The large synthetic rock in Chisago City, installed for kids to play on,  was vandalized and a large hole made.

Lakes Area arrested a 46-year-old man for suspision of domestic offense Dec.9. Incident was reported at Roadhouse bar about 8 p.m.
Two incidents involving threats of suicide were handled over the week by Lakes Area officers, and an episode involving inexplicable behavior by a high school student,  resulted in Lakes Area processing a juvenile mental health hold.

 A theft from a pole building in Fish Lake Township reported Dec. 9. John Deere parts and tools taken.

Theft from vehicle of a wallet December 13, reported at a Ferris Trail, Stacy address. Deputy recovered wallet nearby but cash and cards missing.
