The Wildcat girls’ hockey team played just once in the past week and lost 7-1 to the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets at Isanti Ice Arena on Friday, December 11. Claire DeVries scored the lone goal for the Wildcats, with seven minutes to go in the game, to avoid the shutout. She was assisted by Morgan Huberty. The struggling Wildcats (1-9 overall, 0-4 conference)) head to the Phalen Recreation Center in St. Paul to take on the St. Paul Blades tonight at 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 22 they will return home to Chisago Lakes Arena to face the Mississippi 8 Conference leaders, North Wright County, at 7 p.m.
