Julie Spiers was brought on-board as new executive director for Ecumen’s Parmly LifePointes senior living complex in Chisago City.

Rep. Bob Barrett got the legislator of the year honors given put by the alliance on mental health.
In September Lakes Area Police gave Colleen Nelson of North Branch the department Lifesaver Award, for her quick response to a small child who’d been underwater at a local hotel.
