Lakes Area Police were sent to two school sites over last week both for allegations of assault. One was at the Chisago Lakes middle school and one incident was at the alternative education site, Pathways to Change program in Chisago City.

Saturday, January 31 one citation issued for reckless operation of a snowmobile on North Center Lake.   

Friday, January 30 report of a natural gas leak at an address on Marigold Way.  Xcel and Lindstrom Fire Dept. responded and managed the scene without incident.

A suicide attempt Jan. 30 reulted in transport to hospital for observation.

Wed. January 28 deputies took a juvenile suspect into custody in connection with a message on a wall, at Jacobsen Elementary School in Rush City. The message was threatening harm to other students. The fifth grader detained by authorities was taken to the Regional Juvenile Detention Center and the case went to the county attorney.

A suspect in a fish house break-in and property damage incident was arrested at Rush Lake.

January 27 deputies responded to a complaint about 3:15 p.m. of burning on South Center Lake.  A citation was issued for burning prohibited materials and the site must be cleaned up.

A man was arrested for driving after revocation when he made a scene at the gas station on #17 in Lent Township about 10 p.m. His car was towed.

January 26 Lakes Area Police went to a location of reported suspicious activity and vehicle at an address on Liberty Lane. A burglary was discovered.
