February 8 a vehicle went through the ice on West Rush Lake near the channel north of Cigar Island. Report came in about noon.  No injuries reported.

Feb. 6 a large shed burned down at 32378 Hemingway Ave. Report came in at 2 p.m.

Residential burglary on Redfield Blvd. in Shafer, called in about 3:20 p.m. One suspect arrested with assist of several officers.

Unidentified vehicle burned and was a total loss about 2:40 p.m. at Stark Road and Balsam Avenue in Fish Lake Twsp.

Lakes Area Police were notified of counterfeit money passed Feb. 5 at Holiday in Lindstrom. The surveillance footage is under review.  

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a Green Lake fish house theft Feb. 5 with a Strike Master gas auger the main item missing.

Feb. 4 a report of an IRS tax filing scam and the need to pull a sheriff’s report number as part of the record. The victim of identity theft was a Fish Lake resident.

A couple of stop signs on Lindstrom city streets will have to be replaced due to vandals who placed stickers and defaced the signs.

A suicide attempt was handled by Lakes Area with the injured female brought in for a 72-hour hold.
