There was reported theft of e cigarette liquid refills from a mailbox in Fish Lake Township.  Value is about $100.

Report of theft of Macbook Air, $1,299 from an address near Almelund.  Serial number is on record if you have any concerns about a new device suddenly showing up at your house or pawn shop.

January 16 a sump pump in a basement in Fish Lake Township overheated and homeowner called for assistance from local firefighters with smoke in the home.

Also January 16 a burglary, from a small seasonal cabin, was reported at East Rush Lake Resort & Campground.  Several guns are reported stolen, along with an auger and Vexilar and two televisions.

January 17 ice shack (“Ice Castle”) reported missing from East Rush Lake.  Value is $7,000.

A minor hit and run reported on Forest Blvd. near Maranatha Church reported about 7 a.m.  The suspect vehicle was located.

January 18 a garage fire and vehicle fire were reported to Chisago City fire department. Sheriff’s personnel assisted with traffic control at the four-way stop at Lofton Avenue and Stacy Trail. Reports said the car started on fire resulting in a total loss, with related fire damage to the detached garage. Fire was reported about noon Sunday.
