With another Lindstrom Loppet in the books, John Leaf and Tammi Braund continued their domination of the race.

Leaf won in a close race with Michael Peterka of Minneapolis. Leaf finished in 16:17 while Peterka was right behind him with a time of 16:24. It was one of the closest races in Leaf’s reign at the top.

On the women’s side, Braund ran away from the competition. She finished in 18:40, which was over two minutes faster than the second place woman. That second place finisher, however, was Elise Longley, who was the top finisher under 18. The 16 year old Minneapolis native finished in 20:47.

There were 381 competitors this year, including 173 men and 208 women in the annual Karl Oskar Days race.
