Lakes Area Police handled two incidents involving threat of suicide last week and sheriff personnel assisted at the scene of a North Branch threat made by someone who wanted to take their life June 18.

June 21 a ring was found in Chisago City McDonald’s parking lot and is being held as found property at the Lakes Area Police Department. Describe the item in detail to reclaim it.

Two dogs are awaiting their owners after being brought in as strays in Lindstrom June 21. One is a puppy female pitbull with gray fur and no collar and one is an adult male pitbull, white fur.

June 20 a black lab dog was taken into Lakes Area P.D. possession after someone found the dog tied to a pole on Lake Blvd. about 8 p.m.

Also Saturday, June 20 there were multiple customers without electrical power due to trees down in Taylors Falls and transformers malfunctioning. There was a stretch of County Road 16 where deputies had to direct traffic around the hazard. The report of the first outage came in around 9 p.m. and Xcel spent the next 12 hours doing repairs, according to authorities.

Friday June 19 there was a lost child report made to Lakes Area Police about noon...after a ground search was initiated in the Norelius Drive neighborhood, calling in area firefighters, the police learned the 4-year-old Lindstrom child was with his great grandmother.
