Family Dollar Store called in a theft, Feb 27. Also Feb 27 a student walkaway from Middle School reported to NBPD.
Scrap metal theft alert
Report of a large loss of materials from a site near Frandsen Avenue and 8th Street, in Rush City. Call came into sheriff’s department about 10 a.m. Feb 25 that valuable metals and other recyclable materials and parts were stolen, and the loss was estimated at $20,000. Be aware of anybody cashing in quantities of rail spikes, track or metal plates and please alert authorities.
Sheriff’s deputies report one was transported by ambulance from the scene of a two vehicle crash on Gable and 311th Street, Stacy, about 2:15 p.m. Feb 23. One car slid through intersection striking another westbound on 311th.
Also Feb 23 a report of items stolen from house on Nelson Court, Center City.
Lindstrom, Chisago City and Scandia fire responded to call of detached garage fire Feb 23 at 240th Court.
March 1 vandalism to cars in Stacy trailer court. Bricks were tossed through windshields and windows.
