The “Treats for Troops-Minnesota” organization sent along this photo of  one group of servicepersons,  expressing thanks for the care packages they received from this area.  

Their treats boxes were shipped thanks to donations at last October’s Rockie Lynn Concert at the Chisago Lakes High School in Lindstrom.  

Organizer Cindy Kaske said the flag banner in the rear of the photo is the same one that was available at the concert for sending personalized messages to the troops.

Items are delivered through this organization to bases with Minnesota connections. Monthly boxes are going out and anybody who wants to participate in this effort is encouraged to call Cindy at 257-2356.

Items that go into making up a care package include socks, baby wipes, pre-packaged snack and food items, toilet paper and the like.  There’s always room for you to include a personal note of thanks too.
