Law enforcement went to a report of a break-in at a storage building at Maranatha Church, Wyoming, about 1 a.m. Friday, May 1 and after  a K9 unit was called in, there were two arrests reported.  

The suspects are 21-years-old and one is from Wyoming and the other provided a Forest Lake address.  Fleeing, motor vehicle tampering and theft charges were pending at press time.

April 30 a residential burglary reported in Chisago City.

Fire at a residence on Half Circle Court in Wyoming, Homes on nearby lots were evacuated.  Call came in about 4:30 a.m.

Home burglary reported and under investigation, on Lake Lane in Lindstrom.

Two suicidal persons were reported to Lakes Area Police, and officers responded to avert the actions.

A 79-year old driver was stopped and cited for passing numerous vehicles on the right-- directly in front of a patrol car parked near 270th and Hwy 8, about 5 p.m. April 27.  Driver had expired insurance as well.

Also, April 27 a student from Chisago Lakes High School was transported on a hold and detain order after Lakes Area Police responded to threats he made against students and himself.
