Pierce County, Wisconsin and River Falls authorities reported locating the body of Bobby Sontag, 20,  Monday, May 4.  There had been an alert put out by Wisconsin law enforcement looking for information about the Shafer native’s whereabouts, after Sontag had not been heard from for a couple of days.  

He was enrolled at U-W River Falls in dairy sciences.  His family was honored as Chisago County Farm Family of the Year four years ago.

Authorities were told he reportedly was walking with a friend and the sheriff’s department said the two separated and Sontag went missing.  The medical examiner’s report is pending.
