November 14 deputies may have interrupted a possible theft from First Lutheran Church in Rush City. A car registered to an owner with a felony warrant was spotted outside the church, about 8:45 p.m.  and an open door to the building was noticed. Authorities secured the church after checking inside and finding nobody.  

November 13 a crash at Lofton Avenue, south of Chisago City, broke a power pole apart and left the vehicle on its roof in a ditch resulted in a man transported with injuries, who authorities also suspect of DUI.  Chisago City Fire was paged out to help with downed powerlines.

Also Nov. 13 a treehouse on Leah Lane in Chisago Lake Township,  fell on top of a boy.  His parents reportedly took him to be treated.

November  12 a downed tree on #18 east of Lent Town Hall created a hazard, reported about 2 a.m.  Another tree fell across Falcon Ave. at Fir Trail outside of Stacy the same night, (heavy rainfall and lightning) causing front end damage to a vehicle. This was reported about 5 a.m.

Lakes Area Police went to St. Bridget Church in Lindstrom November 11 to take a report of a theft from the church office. The investigator noted forced entry to door.  No details on items missing.

November 10 Chisago Lakes Middle School administrators notified Lakes Area that a student was selling homemade wrapped candies at the school for 50 to 75 cents a piece. Authorities are having the product tested at the BCA and student was spoken to.

A minor-aged boy fell from a treehouse on Stinson Avenue, in Chisago City about 3 p.m. November 9 and was having trouble breathing. Officer supervised loading victim into ambulance, and he was transported to Fairview in Wyoming.  Also Nov. 9 North Branch made an arrest for DUI in connection with a crash at Lowden Ave. and Hay Creek Road about 11 p.m.
