Mary Jean C. Montzka, age 83, of Forest Lake, died on October 4, 2015.

Mary Jean was a Nursing Alumnus of Bethel University. She was a volunteer camp and school nurse. Mary Jean taught private piano lessons and was a student of Gwen Perun. Mary Jean also served as Office Manager of the family business, Glen Montzka Woodcraft. She was preceded in death by husband, Glen; grandson, Clifton Montzka; brother, Richard Hult. She is survived by her sons, Vernon (Julie), Will (Kathy), Ben (Emily), Dan (Marianne), Timothy (Kristen); honorary son, Jonathan (Karen) Philbrick; grandchildren, Jethro, Naomi, Rebekah, Lydia, Andy, Hannah, Natasha, Ariana, Evan, Megan, Mandy, Brent, Morgan, Alissa, Heidi; great grandchildren, Penelope, Elizabeth, Rachel, Josiah, Selah, Levi, Noah, Asher, Louis, Emry, Claire, Leah, Mabel; brothers, Donald (Betty), Robert (Marlys), William (Jane) Hult; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Hult.

Funeral Service 2 p.m., Saturday October 10, 2015 at Chisago Lakes Baptist Church, 9387 Wyoming Trail, Chisago City. Visitation 4-7 p.m., Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service at church. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Maplewood. Memorials may be made to the family.
