October 19 a dumpster fire was reported, at the lot next to the county jail, about 2:30 a.m. The building next to the disposal receptacle sustained a broken window and electrical meter damage but there wasn’t much debris in the dumpster to sustain the fire.
Deputies and Wyoming Police ended up involved in arresting a driver for suspicion of drunk driving after a report of a hit and run at a business in Wyoming, October 20, reported about 1:30 a.m.
An investigation is continuing on a vehicle and motorcycle crash at Nessel Township, Oct. 20 reported about 7:13 p.m. Female driver, transported to Cambridge Hospital, reportedly said she fell asleep and crossed centerline, striking motorcycle rider, who was airlifted. The incident happened at Acacia Trail and Rush Point Road.
A pole shed on 379th in rural North Branch reported broken into, nothing appeared to be missing.
October 22 North Branch Police looked into a report of a burglary at a vacant home on Eleanor Ave.
October 23 a home burglary was reported at an address on 507th Street West in Nessel.
