Dennis J. Lantz, age 63 of Chisago City, died on September 15, 2015.  He was born on May 10, 1952 in St. Paul, MN to parents Wallace and Martha Lantz.  He graduated from North Branch High School.

Dennis was employed at Rod’s Country Corner in Almelund and Bunkies’ Bowling Alley in Chisago City.  He was a scratch bowler, liked hunting and the outdoors, was an avid gardener, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Dennis was a friend to many and always went out of his way to help others.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; brother David Lantz; and sisters Betty Lue Lantz and Ruthann Lantz.  Dennis is survived by son Jon (Amy) Lantz; grandchildren Nolan and Avery; step-son Nick Carlson; special friend Stephanie Bushard; sister Carol Torp; brothers Gary Lantz and Delano Lantz; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Kost Evangelical Free Church in North Branch, MN.  Interment at Kost Cemetery in North Branch.  Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrand fh.com.
