A number of residential burglaries were reported over the last week in the county...North Branch had an incident July 25 at 378th Street, a report July 26 at Glacier Drive, two incidents July 28 at Red Fox Run and Jeffrey Ave,  and a burglary at Brunswick Rd. July 31. Sheriff patrol also went to a house burglary report in Taylors Falls on First St. July 27.

July 25 theft of five adult female ducks reported from an address on Fairfield, in Rush City.

July 29 authorities were alerted to an abandoned car in Ki Chi Saga Park and found the catalytic convertor had been cut off. The car was reported stolen from a North Branch address.

July 31 a Holiday employee reported two motorcycles speeding and revving motors. The two were stopped near 250th Street and Hwy. 8 and authorities cited both for driving with suspended licenses.

A kayak reported missing, and may have drifted off on Rush Lake, from a residence on Boxwood Ave. in Nessel Twsp. July 31. The vessel is a sunburst color design and registered as MN0775KZ.  A rudder was added after-market.
