Herbert B. Jangor Jr. died unexpectedly on August 15, 2016 at the age of 57.  He was born on April 22, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Herbert Sr. and Harriet Jangor.  Herb graduated from Chippewa Falls High School and graduated from Winona State University.  He married Patricia Schmiesing on April 1, 2000 at the Ward Gym at Chisago Lakes High School.  

He loved to golf, loved to BBQ, and liked to go fishing.  He was a member of the Chisago Lakes Lions, on the Huddle Team and Peer Coach with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, was on the parking crew at Eagle Brook Church in White Bear Lake, and was a Phy Ed teacher and a local coach with numerous sports teams.

Herb is preceded in death by his brother Paul Jangor; father Herbert Jangor Sr.; Uncle Harold Sitler; aunt Sharon Sitler; grandparents Geraldine and Adelbert Sitler and Katherin and Paul Sitler.

Herb is survived by his wife Patty; daughter Karly; step-daughters Becca and Alexa Harmon; mother Harriet Jangor; sister Pam (Allan Baron) Jangor; aunt Betty Sitler; and uncle Jim (Sue) Sitler; and a large community of friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at The Chisago Lakes High School Gym with visitation noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service, on Saturday at the Gym.  A private family interment will take place at a later date.  Arrangements by  Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.
