Cynthia was born on January 28, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert and Audrey Bumgarner. She attended Cambridge/Isanti schools after moving to Isanti as a young child.
Cynthia was a hardworking, outgoing wife, mother, grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crafts, sightseeing, shopping and was an incredible cook and baker. She also had great love for all the seasons and really loved going overboard with giving through the holidays even if it meant compromising her own well-being. She loved to give and loved to be involved in everything almost to a fault. She also served on the Stacy city council until her illness forced her to quit.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Audrey Bumgarner.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 25 years, Wayne Borowick; children Steve Bruss, Jason (Stacie) Bruss and Angie (Chris) Bohman; grandchildren Chelsie (A.J.) Bacigalupo, Nick, Justin, Tyler, Hannah, Owen, Brennen, Drew Bruss, Zach, and Kortney Bohman; brother Bob Bumgarner; sisters Mavis (Al) Bumgarner, Michelle (Tab) Flann and Amber (Bryan) Kushier, many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.
