Donald Pedersen, age 72 of North Branch, Minnesota died unexpectedly on December 16, 2016.  He was born in Chicago, IL on May 10, 1944 to parents Donald and Helen Pedersen.  Don served in the United States Airforce as a Morse and Non-Morse Intercept Operator.  Don worked for AT&T, 3M and then retired from Imation as an International Senior Telecommunication Analyst.  Don loved his work but his passion was his family.  He will be most remembered for his soft heart, loving soul and laid back personality.
Don is preceded in death by his father Donald Pedersen and his mother Helen Pedersen.

He is survived by his wife Patty Pedersen; daughter Regena (Jan) Huffman, son Robert C. (Kim) Abbott, daughter Judith (Kyle) Asklund, son Lawrence (Shelley) Pedersen, daughter Kelly (Tim) Carr; Thirteen Grandkids; Aubrey (Brian) Ledtje, Emily Huffman, Amy (Chris) Dyvig, Amanda Huffman, Matthew King, Christopher (Jenny)King, Tyler (Deborah) Abbott, Tanner (Baliegh) Abbott, Kelsey Asklund, Aiden (Danielle) Pedersen, Ellen Pedersen, Elaine Pedersen, and Caleb Pedersen, and 11 great-grandkids.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, December 21 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch. Interment will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Harris, MN. Arrangements are with Grandstrand Funeral Home, in North Branch.
