Lakes Area Police were informed at approximately noon of an assault at the High School in Lindstrom. No details available.
Wild Mountain reported a snowboard theft over the past week, value of loss is $350. Item is a K2 Illusion 157 with Burton freestyle bindings.

December 17 firefighters were sent to address on Point Pleasant Road about 6:40 p.m.  The smoke filling inside of residence was due to new fireplace installation.

December 18 a stabbing allegedly took place, injuring one,  at the old motel on Forest Blvd. in the south end of Wyoming.  Lakes Area Police patrol went to assist in securing the scene.  Incident was reported between midnight and 1 a.m.

Wyoming Police also were called to a residence,  on Friesland Avenue, Dec. 18 about 11:45 p.m. on a report of shots fired.  The incident involved an adult entertainment style video or photos of a X-rated scene involving a woman and a firearm. The woman reportedly discharged the prop gun, striking a house next door.  The county crisis negotiating team was activated, but quickly cleared once the call-out was deemed unnecessary.

December 14
North Branch Police arrested four suspects after a report of theft from Tower Liquors was reported about 3:40 p.m.  
North Branch Chief of Police Dan Meyer said the Wyoming and sheriff’s patrol cars assisted in locating the suspect vehicle,  fleeing southbound on I-35, and the car was quickly stopped a little north of Stacy.  An alleged controlled substance was found in the vehicle.  

Those booked gave addresses from St. Paul, Ramsey and Plymouth.  The alleged shoplifting involved bottles of alcohol.

December 15
A stolen truck out of Rush City reported.  It is a 1991 Chevrolet K2500, blue with a plow.

December 16
Authorities dealt with a number of vehicle incidents related to the road conditions with the heavy snow and slick roads.  No serious injuries-- but many cars went off into the ditches from Morgan and Olinda south of Lindstrom to a rear-end crash at Reliable Bronze near Rush Point and many incidents on the freeway called for local assist.

Man reporting a local Chisago Lakes area business has charges on his credit card but he has not been into the business.  He resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

A block of Railroad Avenue in Chisago City was inundated by an odor believed to be natural gas, reported about 1:50 p.m. Friday, Dec 16.  Police community service officer and public works determined it was not natural gas, but related to municipal sewer system. Water was put into traps and odor dissipated.
