Sunday January 31 a two-vehicle crash on Green Lake Trail and Manning Avenue, resulted in property damage but nobody was transported. Incident was reported a little before noon.
January 29 Lakes Area went to give assistance to Wyoming Police who were responding to a domestic dispute which may involve weapons. The incident was resolved at the address on 267th Court about 2 a.m.
Report of a license plate taken off a car in the Hidden Forest development, rural Chisago City. Also, report of theft of a “NorthStar” model log splitter from Crown Drive, Fish Lake address.
January 27 authorities got a call of an injured coyote in Lindstrom that had been hit by a car. He was put down by police.
Two stainless steel maple syruping vats reported stolen from site in Harris. Value is $1,000.
January 25 a report from Wisconsin, by a parent concerned for her daughter’s welfare stating that her daughter was being held against her will, and was in a vehicle, traveling in the Chisago County area. Officers approached the vehicle about 9 p.m. when it turned into Schmidt Oil in Chisago City.
Officers arrested a 38-year-old male and a 37-year-old female. The male suspect was alleged to have violated firearms law with a loaded handgun and loaded rifle recovered in the car, and the woman allegedly possessed a controlled substance.
