Dale Gillette of Chisago City, Minnesota passed from this life on Sunday, February 21, 2016. He was born in Chisago City on June 8, 1959 to Dorothy and Dexter Gillette.  Dale was a 1977 graduate of Forest Lake High School, and later graduated from St Paul Technical School. Dale worked with the local IBEW Union for most of his career as an electrician.

Dale was multitalented; he was an avid reader, and with his photographic memory could hold his own in any game of Jeopardy. Dale loved the outdoors and the cowboy life. He especially enjoyed trail rides and his horses.  Dale was a wonderful father and nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his daughters.

Dale is survived by two daughters Whitney Gillette and Hannah Gillette, a step-daughter Jolene Lauderbaugh (Shawn); his ex-wife Cindy Gillette; brothers Dexter Gillette (Lisa), Dean Gillette (Gretchen), Duane Gillette (Jo), and one sister Dianna Fratto (David) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents and brother Douglas Gillette.
