Annette M. Higgins (Cookie Graskey) age 72, of Medon, Tennessee formerly of Shafer, Minnesota, passed away December 28, 2015 in Jackson, Tennessee.  She was born  December 6, 1943 to parents Alvin and Helen Graskey in Superior, Wisconsin.  She graduated from Superior Central High School and married Gerald Higgins on October 17, 1963 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  

She was employed at Shafer Electronics for many years.  Annette enjoyed working in the yard with her flowers, playing cards with friends, going to Lynx games, traveling, playing bingo with her sisters and spending time with family.

Annette is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Helen Graskey; sisters Catherine (Dick) DeClark and Margie (Dick) Berg.  She is survived by her husband Gerald; daughter Char (Robert) Powers, son Jeff (Ronda) Higgins; siblings Alvin (Rosemarie) Graskey, Jim (Jeanie) Graskey, Karen (Richard) Bergren, Sandy (Mike) McGinnis, George (Linda) Graskey, and Sue (Dean) Grisar; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services 1 p.m. Saturday, January 23, at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with visitation one hour prior to the service.  A private family interment will take place at a later date.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.grand strandfh.com.
