They announced that Todd Dufault would take over the reins next year as the new head coach.
Dufault comes to CLHS from Waseca High School, where he led the Blue Jays 92-47 record in five years, as well as a state tournament berth in 2016. Dufault has also earned the Section 2AAA Coach of the Year.
His team also made a bit of national news last season, as they were involved in the four overtime, multiple buzzer-beating section final game against Marshall that earned them their trip to state.
Dufault was also the Activities Coordinator at Waseca for two years. Before Waseca, he was an assistant coach at Owatonna for six years.
“We are excited to have Todd join our staff. He is known throughout the state as a great teacher of the game and one who builds great relationships with his kids,” Chisago Lakes Activities Director Neil Fletcher said.
Todd and his wife Michelle live in Lindstrom. They have five children.
