Evelyn E. Kargel, age 95 of Chisago City, died on July 20, 2016.  Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband Albert; daughter Kathleen Steele; grandson Joshua Green, and eight siblings.  She is survived by her daughters Linda (Dean) Woodsend, Mary Jo Winch, and Cheryll (Mark) Grandstrand; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and son-in-law Greg Steele.  

Evelyn loved her family and loved Jesus.  She was also a longtime member of St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church.  Visitation starting at 9 until time of service at church.   A private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom.
