Lakes Area oficers were called out during the heavy rainfall event June 14-15 to  render aid in the work zone on Old Towne Road near Bluff Street.  Standing water made through traffic hazardous, the drains were opened by public works while officers handled traffic control.

A house was struck by lightning June 14 about 6 p.m. Responders found just exterior damage to the dwelling on 295th Street in Lindstrom.

June 19 a call reported a home burglary in progress in Stacy on Genesis Ave. Suspects were not found,  but a car the burglars drove away in was recovered in Sunrise Estates trailer court. The vehicle is being processed.
