Irene F. Skow, age 90 of Chisago City, passed away on June 21, 2016.  She was born in Redwood Falls, Minnesota on July 30, 1925 to parents Peter and Wilheminna Johnson.  Irene and Ralph lived in the area for many years.  She enjoyed her music, playing her accordion and keyboard with her group at many nursing homes and other venues.  

She is preceded in death by husband Ralph.  Irene is survived by her children Kitty (Ed Montbriand) Skow, Don (Candy Regan) Skow, Dick (Sue) Skow, Allan Skow, Bev Peterson, Lary (Melany) Skow, and Rob (Alicia) Skow; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She will be missed by many.  A special thanks goes to Parmly LifePointes and also St. Croix Hospice.

Funeral Services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 26 at Parmly LifePointes Chapel in Chisago City.  Interment at South Green Lake Cemetery in Chisago City.  Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com
