Lakes Area Police were called to two locations March 16, reporting fallen trees after a brief fierce wind and rainstorm, one tree was on fire and Chisago City firefighters handled the scene with Xcel Energy crews. This was on Kismet Isle. The other tree had taken down a cable t.v. line on Railroad Avenue in Chisago City and MidContinent was alerted. Both calls were about 8 a.m.
March 17 a theft of gas from a full gas tank of a vehicle reported. Theft was at an address on Third Avenue, Lindstrom.
Saturday, March 19 a male collapsed about 5:45 p.m. from a medical condition, and required attention and transport from the parking lot of The Northern, Chisago City.
Grass fire got out of control on Government Road in Sunrise about 3 p.m. North Branch firefighters responded.
